Kallatra’s Crystal Coconut oil is a family business established in 1992. A small scale industry unit registered with the Department of Industries & Commerce - Government of Kerala, by Mr. Kallatra Abbas has led to a third decade which is 30 years of business experience. Our dedication to purity allows us to produce the highest quality product as we use direct sourcing to enrich and empower the indigenous people who grow these crops. The certification of ISO 9001:2008 and also AGMARK naturally guarantees the quality of our products. As noted above, we started with coconuts harvested from our thirty acres of land in Kerala where our cultivation network is assisted by supervising their farming methods and providing them with quality planting materials, compost, and environmentally safe, effective bio-pesticides. This partnership provides us with raw materials of the highest quality at competitive market prices, while upholding fair trade practices, and is tended by our highly skilled technical staffs, dedicated to quality from seed to finished product.
A total of 30 employees work for the business, including the production and sales teams. Our management always provides the highest quality and uses no paraffin or other additives which reduces production costs. As the market and business growth receded, the company didn't compromise on the product's quality, which was always its hallmark and use strict quality control procedures with every batch we release for sale. Currently, the company has completed 30 years of service in the market, which is a long time considering the level of competition. The coconut oil that we supply is the first to be AGMARK-certified in Kasaragod district.
